Wolf Glen Tipis supplied us with a tipi to accompany an exhibition on Native American cultures at one of our local museums. This gave us an excellent venue for kids’ art workshops and proved to be a fantastic draw for visitors. An open weekend was organised and staff at Wolf Glen cooked food, ran craft sessions for children and spoke about Native American culture and tipi dwelling to anyone who was interested. Over the weekend, we had three times more visitors than over the same period the previous year. Children still turn up asking when the tipi will be back at the museum!
